Road Side Zoo's

Road Side Zoo's are terrible places for animals, especially the Wild Animals that these said Zoo's hold. Roadside zoos are found throughout North America, particularly in remote locations. They are small, unregulated, for-profit zoos, often intended to attract visitors to some other facility, such as a gas station. The animals may be trained to perform tricks, and visitors are able to get closer to them than in larger zoos. Since they are unregulated, roadside zoos are notorious for instances of neglect and cruelty.

Animals big animals such as Tigers, Lions, Elephants, Hippo's and such other animals in Road Side Zoo's are normally in cages where they can barely move. Water buckets are moldy, animals pace insanely, different breeds are kept together. Breeding takes place alot mostly for more profit. Charging hundreds of dollars to get your picture taken with a baby tiger or other such thing.

These places should be shut down their horrible places for animals. Most all the animals are used and abused all for money. The well being of the animals is not considered. Best thing to do is not go to these places. Boycott even and petition for the place to close.

More information on Roadside Zoo's, this website is about one in Canada to give you and idea of what their all about.

I am highly against Road Side Zoo's. Hopefully you can see why.

Are you Anti or Pro?

Personally I am Pro but only for some captivity.
I am against captivity that keeps wild animals in small cages, or have two tigers in a cage that is only supposed to fit a domestic dog like a kennel. I believe that is damn cruel and I hate shit like that.

I also hate the Circus, it obvious Circus animals are abused and used.

Small running Zoo's I hate very much stupid people think because they get a permit and have a few thousand bucks and property, that it would be a good idea to keep big cats and bears. In tiny cooped up cages and pens. No room to run and having to live in their fecal matter. They buy these animals as cubs and as babies. They keep these wild animals in their homes until their old enough then put them in outside pens. Thinking these animals are domesticated, but alot of these owners learn the hard way no matter if the animal is in a breeding facility or taken from the wild as a baby. They will always be wild you cannot tame them. So stop buying and keeping them.

I also hate the Drug gangs and stuff who buy wild animals for show. To show how gangster or manly they are. It's suchy bullshittery.

Most of these animals once their done being used or if they attack/kill their owner are shot to death, killed or their bodies are dumped in ditches and burned. The lucky ones end up in Sanctuaries.

Now the captivity I am for,
is simply Zoo's for one that have huge enclosures even natural exhibits for their animals, and top notch medical care. And places that do not treat these animals like their pets or domesticated animals. And places that do not abuse them. Places that feed them till their full, do not let them starve to death. Try to do all they can for the animals.
I am for Seaworld and some Aquariums not all.
I am for Sanctuaries that are actually non-profit most the time and great to their animals.

Next I will be posting diffrent subjects. Like a blog about circuses and such, what is wrong with them or right with them in my eyes.

Good or Bad?

It is my strong belief that some captivity is good while other captivity is bad. My first blog about captivity will start with the circus. So please stay tuned.
